    Question Bios setting explanation please

    What is the K6 WRITE ALLOCATE setting for ?

    I've got this in my BIOS and I have an AMD processor.

    WA is a more modern (and slightly faster) caching strategy for main DRAM. Enable it.
    Since it has no side effects (unless your BIOS sets it up wrong), there's nothing to fear.
