Yes, but running at 133 is going to be rather hard on the agp video card. Switch that to a pci or get a Matrox G400.

The alternative is to go to a board with the Via apollo pro chipset. The Abit VA6 is such a board. So is the Soyo 6BA+IV. Anandtech has several reviews.

I'm looking at the MSI BX Master with the G400 myself. My BX6-2 has lost the cpu fan and temp header, just don't feel right about it with that gone.

as a matter of fact the G400Max was what I planned on getting. Great so using the BE6-2 with p3-733(pc133) (or p3-800, pc133), with 256mb(pc133)... and the G400Max w/32 mb. would that all work together??

It should, but you won't have much room to overclock it.

Abit's main flaw according to most reviews is that they aren't as stable as some other boards out there. I don't think any of those other boards they are compared to are as good for overclocking... AOpen is one that usually comes up.

Might look for some reviews of the BE-6 at that speed first. I think it will do it but I'm not in a position to try it.

thanks... so far I havent read any reviews using p3-733.... i have read lower speed with PC-133. Oh well, i guess i have to wait until someone try it first. and I really want to use the PC133 in Ram memory.

oh I dont intent to overclock the speed of the chip (at least not yet). I know that Abit has the new Bios updates for using the 800...
