dumb question bout at vs atx ???

Nope not sure on that but the board has AT or ATX.Now if i understand right ATX boards come with the serial and paralell ports,usb ,ect connectors on the board?? If this is correct mine is an AT.

If you have 2 power leads coming from your PSU to your mobo, and they sit next to each other on the mobo with the black wires next to each other, it is an AT type psu.
If you have 1 chunky connector with 2 rows of pins on it, then it is an ATX psu.

Im going to get a new MB,right now i have a Amptron PcChips 575.I want a new board thats compatible with what i have. So waht is the difference between AT and ATX ? My power supply has connections for both.Looking at the Epox MVP3G2 Will this work?Ohh i have PC100 Memory a voodoo 3 2000.and sound blaster pro.

Are you sure your power supply has both? Some boards have both AT & ATX, but one of the differences between them is the power switch.
AT has a power switch hard-wired from the case to the power supply. ATX has a connection from the ps to the board, then from the board to the case power switch. This allows for soft power on.

My board has a Cleeorn 366 overclocked to 550 on it right now it is an ASUS P2B-B. I am getting rid of it wanna set up Dual CPU. I am willing to part it for 75$. If you are interested E-mail me. It has been used for about 3 months.

I recently purchased a Shuttle super 7 board with an AMD k-6/3 550 chip. AT form factor. I think the board is model 591P. Its a great combination.

Just out of curiosity what are going to do with the old board? I know there's not that much that you can do with that board.

I have a Luckytech P5MVP3 mobo with an AMD K6-II 400 on it. The mobo is only a cheap one, but I would recommend it to anyone. It has been running my K6 at 550 for a while now with no major problems at all, if you want the benchmarks I can email them to you but needless to say it rocks. It will encode a 4 minute MP3 in about 4 mins and 3 seconds, thats reading it from the cd at the same time. will support up to 600mhz, supports(cant remember but these are pretty much it) 2.1v,2.2v,2.3v,2.4v,2.5v,2.8v,2.9v,3v,3.2v,3.52v.
All pretty much standard spec stuff but the board is cheap and I doubt you would find much faster at such a low price, the cpu was £38 and the mobo was about £40(I'm in UK by the way).
