    Hi!

Cyrix MII 300 and 333 with TXpro boards does work. You need to update to the latest BIOS available. 3.5x66 and 3.0x83 types of processors work fine and stable even on the original M560, needless to say on the later M560TG, M565 and M575.

Just the BIOS will get the identification string wrong and always report a "6x86MX-PR266". The processor nevertheless runs at its rated 233 or 250 MHz speed.

I've done that several times by now, no problem there, not even in long-term stability.

What exactly didn't work in your setup? Maybe I can help.

    Regards, Peter

    Hi again.

So for the details: What board is it? M560, 560TG, 565, or 575?

    Regards, Peter
