    FIC 503+ & Pentium "classic"

I think this board meets my needs, (4 simms) and also has 3 ISA slots. However... I need this board to support a P-54c pentium, non-mmx, and also 3.45 volts.
The specs I've seen start with the P-55c (mmx) and claim a maximum of only 3.2 volts. Will this work for me?

I've got it. It supports 3.3v and 3.45v core voltage, but the jumper settings are not listed in the manual. On FIC's website they give jumper settings for an IDT Winchip which should be 3.3v. I'll check the voltage that setting gives and get back to you, but you should be fine. Take a look at www.fica.com and maybe pose the question to their tech support in the meantime.

Thanks! I'll go look again, but I did not see an EMail address or phone # listed there before...

Nope, none listed that I could find. That's why I asked here...
I did see in technical support (here) where a P75 is working at 3.3v. If I had the ability to send it back or just swap it if it doesn't work, would be no problem, but I don't.

I have a dell optiplex gs with a p133 and it runs at 3.3v also but I check the schematic on my pc and voltage ranged from something like 2.8 to 3.45 im not sure if the low side was actualy 2.8 but I know for sure that the highest was3.45v I just can't figure out how to change it. my mobo has no jumpers!
    good luck.

    Thanks!
I went ahead & ordered the fic board. I finally checked on amd processors and ordered one of those too.
The highest jumper setting appears to be 3.2 volts according to the manual available online.
If the pentium doesn't work, I'll try the amd. I didn't know they were so inexpensive!

Usually a P54 Pentium "classic" will run on 3.2v. If you do have problems I can just about guarantee I can come up with jumper settings for 3.3 or 3.4v for the 503+. FIC just didn't advertise that they exist very well.
