Compaq 5300 series mobo
Does anyone know if the Compaq 5300 series mobos support the Motherboard Monitor 4 Program? using sisoft sandra its states several makers of the board, maybe these are the various chipmakers. One of these being Wang and the Other being Gigabyte. I assume that Compaq doesnt make their own. When I run Mobo Monitor 4 it gives me crazy feedback like my CPU is 131 c . I mean the thing wouldn't even operate at that temp would it? I just want to know if This board supports monitoring and temp feedback. I have an AMD K6-2 450 set at x4.5 and 2.5 volts versus 2.4 using the Mcafee benchmark it runs at about 510 mhz. seems like quite a jump for only .1 volt change. I hope this heat reading isn't true.
Thanks for letting me babble
