good, CHEAP, sound/video integrater socket 7 mobo??
Recently my shop has been unable to get the DCS onboard sound/video mobo that we've been using for cheap K62 systems. Does anybody know anybody know of any good, cheap video/sound integrated socket 7 mobo?
thanks in advance

try PCChips M598. I'm using this board with an AMD K62-400 and able to overclock it to 450 Mhz with stability. It has 8MB AGP video built-in, which is not so bad but not the too good though and a 4channel sound card which is not so bad too. Installing windows can be troublesome but as long as you have the drivers for the AGP and the IRQ. It's good.

Goldboyd,
You might also check out the amptron PM-585B mobo that has AGP, Sound, Lan, and modem on board. www.amptron.com

I also would recommend the 585B, the sound a little shakey but otherwise a very good board. Just built 3 new systems with it and amd k6-2 350 and running them at 400 mhz no problem.

I have a PC-Chips M599. It is a Micro ATX board. I have had good results so far. I`m running a K6-2 400 w/no problems, although I have not tried to overclock it... yet.
