Celeron on pd440fx board, will it work?

I'd like to know if anyone has successfully run celeron chip on pd440fx board.

Intel website indicates that celeron may work on 440fx, but it was not tested.

I have sucessfully installed a Celery 400 in my Intel PD440FX MB... Very good no probs... I do recommend however that you spend the cash on a new BX2-R2 board... A noticeable difference in performance due to memory timings and that the BX chipset is faster than the FX (Pentium Pro) chipset... Have fun...

    Tony,

440FX maxed out at pentium ii 333MHz. How do you set the jumper for celeron 400?
