    Help please prob with BIOS

    Hello, I have a old p100 with a AOpen ap53 MB with AMI bios. Each time I boot the computer from a cold boot, the bios reverts to the default settings. Plug&Play OS turns off and the date-time reverts to 1997 too. Is it a battery problem or something, the jumper to reset the bios is correct at the default setting and I dont know what can cause that.

    Advrage life of mobo battery is 3-5 years. chack your mobo or replace the battery.
