Pheonix Bios, Good or Bad????????

I am considering purchasing a gateway PC. I ususally build my own using my favorite AOPEN parts. I have had experience with AWARD and AMI bios, but never with PHEONIX. Colleauges of mine have told me that this is a terrible and unstable bios, if it were that bad I would revert back to building my own. How is this bios???????????????????

For whatever it's worth, Award has merged with Phoenix, the new company appears to be Phoenix.

I've not heard anything negative about Phoenix.

There is nothing wrong with the Phoenix BIOS. It just does not give you as many tweaking options as the Award. No memory timings etc.
