    M767v Motherboard

I have an M767v MB that I purchased from TigerDirect. I am using a Celeron 300a, PC100 memory, and AT power supply. I have not been able to get the board to boot up. I believe that PC Chips made the board because their M767v matches the specs on this board. I have been to their site, but I can not get into the jumper site or the manual site. I have talked to TigerDirect, but I have not been able to resolve the problem with them. The processor and memory both work on an Abit BH6 board. I am not sure that I have all the jumpers set properly. Does anyone have any experience with this board. Any suggestions or help will be appreciated.

The usual suspect for a PC-Chips motherboard that doesn't do anything out of the box is (drum roll) the "CMOS clear" jumper.

To save battery life, PC-Chips ship their boards with the jumper set to "Clear", with the side effect that the board seems totally dead when powered on. No picture, not even a beep. So many people are overlooking this, and PC-Chips dedicated an extra page in their latest manuals to it ...

Set to "Normal", and off you go.

    Regards, Peter
