    AT?? ATX???

What's the difference between a AT mb, and
a ATX mb..? What about a board that supports a PentiumII, will it support a PentiumII Celeron too?

newbie trying to upgrade his poor p-200,
thanx in advance for any help.

There's a few noticeable difference. ATX mobo requires a new ATX case. The power connectors and the orientation of the board is diferrent between AT & ATX. There's some AT mobo that has ATX connectors - like VA-503+ V1.2.

Some older Pentium II mobo can support the Celeron by upgrading the BIOS. Motherboard that does not provide 2.0 volts however will not be able to support the CELERON.

You have an old P-200. I think you might have an AT case. It may not be wise to reuse the case and buy an AT form motherboard. You'll be very limited to the available AT form Pentium II mobo.
