We are considering a project which would require a microcontroller/PCboard/flash custom design. Rather than developing a custom product we would like to utilize an existing production board. We've heard about PII motherboards with 2MB EEPROM. However, the series of motherboard is not of prime importance. The greatest needs are in the size of the EEPROM, and the motherboard should be "standard" to insure economic feasibility. To move forward, we need information on what to program the EEPROM with just to start the system, and how to program the EEPROM. Is there someone with some information that might help?
