    BH6 - crashes with 2 dimms

I know I read a lot about this a while back, but now I can't find any records of the results...

My SL2W8 runs very happily at 464 when I have one 64mb DIMM in. When I add a second, in whichever slot, it crashes on starting Halflife. It doesn't matter which DIMM I have in, so they're both okay.

Please someone point me in the right direction 'cos this is driving me nuts ! How do I get my system running with the full 128mb ?!

Bump your voltage up to the CPU

    It's on 2.3 already ! I really fdon't think it's the CPU that's causing this problem.

Your dimms might be marginal for the speed. I find a subtle difference in performance with 2 sticks instead of 1.

A single 128 with the same specs or two 64s with better specs might be the answer.

Send me the Module ID info and the numbers on an individual chip. Maybe I can tell you what they will or won't do.

    Use slots 2 & 3, instead of 1 & 2.

Also-is 464 noticably better than 450? Just asking.

    THIS MIGHT HELP...
oskar_wu of ABIT posted a file that he would like to have users of BH6 to test. It suppose to help solve the memory problem.
