Identifying revision number on FIC-2013

I recently purchased an FIC-2013 MB and I am having trouble getting my system stable with a new AGP video card (win95 "program has performed an illegal operation and will close" problems galore). One suggestion that I have received is upgrading my MB bios. The FIC download page has bios listings for the 1.0/1.1 boards and the 2.0 board (what does PCB stand for?). The only version number I can find in my manual is B0. Since I have also found reference to an A0 and A1 version for my board, it seems likely that I have a 2.0 revision. However, the bios version that is displayed at bootup corresponds to the latest version for the 1.0/1.1 boards. Does anyone out there know how to ID the revision number for my board? I don't want to flash a bios that is not compatible. Thanks.

The rev # is on the motherboard in one of the corners by the header (the area where the mouse, serial ports, etc are). There are quite a few updates & patches out for these motherboards. It seems that there is a general compatibility problem with how super socket7 motherboards have implemented the AGP bus. Evidently they were either unwilling or unable to license Intel's design for the AGP bus. If you read the tech boards, AGP is the #1 problem people are having with super socket7 boards.

Sorry to say that after months of attempts, I was not able to get my PA2013 (early rev) stable with AGP. I also tried a 503+ board (latest rev) will equally dismal results. May you have better luck than I

I have two 2013's. The revision # is located in the lower left corner of the board, between the two ISA slots. It should say PCB 2.0, 1.2 or 1.1, etc. I believe PCB stands for Printed Circuit Board. Hope this helps.

Also, my manual says B0 also, and I have the 2.0 version. My other manual says A1 and that version is 1.1. After you update BIOS, be certain to install latest VIA AGP Drivers(version 2.9) after you install your video card. This is very important. Go to www.via.com for other patches you may need as well, especially if you are running Win95.
