    MultiProcessor Motherboards

    Does anyone know a manufacturer of Multiprocessor motherboards? I think I'd like to build myself an MP system for coding. Thanks...

    Most of the motheboard makers make dual proccesor motherboards. However, if you are looking for a four proccesor motherboard, then your choices narrow quite a bit. In hunting around for a quad (I have a dual PPro Server now) I found a quad Xeon motherboard, but at a price of $10,500*! WOW is all I have to say. Check WWW.PRICEWATCH.COM

    $500 and up for a case
    $700 to $2500 for each cpu
    then add memory..

    definate big boy territory, that is for sure..
