    MB with Flat-Panel support

Does anyone know of a low-cost motherboard with on-board flat-panel support? (ie; direct digital connection, NOT VGA)

Nobody as of yet. Most low end boards with onboard video and/or sound do so as a compromise for the convenince and it shows up on the performance and compatability issues when you start adding perifs that require an IRQ that has been assigned to the on-board devices. Most of the video on board are on the pci, but some are operating on ISA. With pricing going down, you can pick a decent Socket7 (FIC,Epox, etc.)board and the clone video cards are probably just starting to release that do offer limited support for LCD. Or if your lucky with the tax return you can build the dream system! Good luck
