    ASUS P2B & AGP

Running Windows 95 b ver and notice in device manager that the display adapter has some conflicting memory locations with the PII chipset and some of the device drivers. I tried the patch with the MB and no diff. Also doesn't matter whether its a PCI video or AGP video card. Same conflicts. I don't notice any problems, but will I??

Here is the exact message "memory range E3800000-E3FFFFFF used by Intel 82443BX Pentium II processor to AGP controller." Also mem location E2800000-E380FFFF. This message is displayed no matter if I use the Diamond driver or the generic Windows driver. Any idea?

there is an agp driver on your disk that came with the motherboard.
You may need to update your bios but I'm running 1002 and it's gone.
It really means nothing except that it's telling you that your card and AGP are using the same bus..DUh like we haven't figured that out eh?
No really, you will have no problems whatso ever if you leave it like it is.
There is a driver update on your disk if you want to get rid of it though.
I can't think of the exact name of the driver but if you can't figure out which one, post again and I'll dig out my disk and find out which one it is and if you need it, I'll e-mail it.

I could not find an AGP driver on the cd. The only thing I could find were the ide bus drivers and the BX patch file..
