The board's co-designer Oskar Wu told us (unofficially) that the LOW setting overclocks the L2 cache.

WCPUID displays L2 Latency. HIGH sets it at 8. LOW sets it at 3!

I tried 2 using WCPUL2. The system would not finish booting. If you try it and get stuck, start in the SAFE MODE, run WCPUL2 and switch the STARTUP setting to STOP. Then Restart the machine.

Both are available, as is SoftFSB which lets you change bus speed on the fly , from www2.tky.3web.ne.jp/~nrklv . There's also a depository of info on CPU Markings, and much more.
