    Need help with PCI installation

I am trying to install a sounblaster live PCI card . Windows95 can't even recognize it. All of my BIOS settings are correct and the motherboard jumpers do not apply. I have a SuperP6SBA motherboard. The soundcard works fine on another system. As well I have a MPEG2 decoder PCI card that isn't working with my computer. Under my winodws 95 device manager there is a yelloe exclamation point next to my PCI Bus. I have tried reinstalling the drivers, nothing works. But what is weird is that my matrox millenium 2 PCI graphics card works. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks

Did you remove your previous sound card drivers?

The "!" next to the PCI bus usually means that there is an IRQ conflict with your hardware. Try changing what PCI slot your Live is located in to another slot, this might be the problem (I doubt it but can't hurt to try).

What conflicts are listed? (if any). When you remove the drivers, makes sure you remove the board and cold boot. Shut down again and reinstall the board, then reload the drivers.
I have also found that some modems will conflict with sound cards but the conflict will not show up under the sound card. Search system devices for any conflicts. Also, you may want to start windows in the safe mode and check for multiple installations of devices. (which does not always show up)
try setting your BIOS irq settings to "AUTO".
    Good luck.
