    A Open AX6BC - Celeron 300A - SCSI parts

Anand Tech site gives this board a very good review - one notch below the Abit boards for overclocking - more stability - any comments on O/C to 450 with Adaptec 3940 AUW, Seagate Cheetah 9.1 would be welcomed! Thanks, Donn Ganley

It uses a SCSI bus? I don't know about you guys, but I sure don't like having to pay an extra 20-40% more just because I can't use IDE drives.

Or am I mistaken about the SCSI and the MB has IDE connections.

My friend has it running with Adaptec 2940UW w/o any problem. The O/C is the trick part. AX6BC doesn't provide voltage manipulating, so unless you have a Celeron 300A can run 450@2.0V, don't buy it.
