3D Prohpet 4500

Two days ago I installed this graphics card. The next morning when I booted my keyboard wasn't recognized. Then I got no graphics. I messed around for awhile and then did a restore from an image file. Everything was fine until I downloaded the critical downloads from Microsoft. Same problem with the monitor. During boot it goes to standby and I get no picture. I've reinstalled my image file and it's fine again.

Anyone else have a problem with 3D Prophet like this or with the critical update?

Is the card seated correctly?
Also, have you checked your BIOS or Windows settings for power consuming and all that stuff??

It sounds weird! Because you get no picture to the monitor and yet when you do an image it works?!?!?!?!?!

I'd reseat the card. It's not uncommon for this to happen when the AGP slot heats up and expands during use.
