How can I get refresh rates above 75 in win2k?

Hello there,

I kind of asked this question before but got no responce. So am asking it in a different way. If this is considered a double post my apologies. the other was in this forum and seems dead.

So to the question. I have a Geforce2MX and a vision master Pro411 which is able to give far more that 75 hz ad 1024 x 768. So why cannot i get win2k to go any higher than 70??? I have the driver installed from the iiyama web site. No joy.

also why does the screen appear to change refresh rate, or at least refresh, screen blinks off and on again when I press the advanced button on the settings page if the display properties?
