    GF2

    I put in my GF2MX and for some reason my computer is darker than normal..I installed aLL the drivers and stuff but it is still dark. What do you think is making it so dark?

    Perhaps the previous video card was outputting brighter images... When I upgraded my video card from Leadtek Geforce 256 DDR 32MB to Suma Geforce 2 GTS 64MB, I had to darken the monitor because it was so much brighter.

    Is it so dark to the point where adjusting the monitor brightness won't help? You may also want to try setting the gamma setting a bit higher if the monitor brightness doesn't help. You can higher the gamma setting in the Nvida control panel under "Color Correction".
