Problem with RAGE Pro

I have an IBM (PII) , equiped with an ATI rage Pro graphics card.
The problem is that, althoug the gamma sets are maximum, the monitor is too dark in most applications espacially in games .
What can I do?

Graphics onboard is MACH64 with 4Mbytes of SDRAM memory.

It sounds like your monitor is out of adjustment, not your video card. Have a qualified technician check it out. There are usually several (up to 10) adjustable pots on the circuit boards inside the monitor case.

Making the wrong adjustment can cause sever distortion to the images.

Touching the worng part inside can cause sever injury or death due to the high voltages inside of a monitor.
