geforce 3: worth it, worth sh*t
I'm unsure because of the price but have you seen screenshots of the upcoming doom 3 and unreal 2? simply incredible.

Those games are more then a year a way. So why not just get a Geforce5 then? See my point. Might as well buy a KyroII or Radeon64DDR and enjoy the extra money.

That's a good point...actually, that's a very good point. As the matter of fact, it seems to me that video cards always come out late, meaning that they're only good for games that have already come out, sometimes just come out, sometimes months ago (see years in some cases.) Of course they can play the newest games but framerate and cost of product wise, it's a bit disappointing.
I have a geforce2 mx by leadtek. I can play deus ex and half life among others with all graphics features activated and get very satisfying framerate. But with Alice or even NOLF, i'm a bit disappointed (just a bit because the card wasn't that expensive.)
Now i don't mean to complain and rant but i just hope nVidia and other card makers will understand that if they lower their prices within the range of a gamer's financial capabilities (which isn't much, at least for me), then the more they make the more we buy. it's a win-win situation, everyone's happy.
On the other hand, it's just money...

ps:...yeah right...
