DVD problem with MSI Geforce MX

I'm getting strange green blotches occasionally appearig in random places watching DVD. Picture also isn't as smooth as expected compared to Voodoo3.

    Tried reference MSI drivers.

Detonator 3 drivers - no picture at all only horizontal line and sound.

    Setup using :

    Jetway 993AN VIA133 motherboard
    Service pack .24
    Direct X 7a
    MSI 816 Geforce MX
    Celeron 600
    128Mb PC100 CAS2
    Samsung 8x DVD IDE
    Creative PCI 128
    Powerdvd 2.55 (MSI)

    Any ideas?

Are you overclocking that motherboard and/or videocard?

Both are non overclocked. Standard freq settings.

Does that videocard do hardware dvd decoding? I have an ATI card with hardware decoding(work well), but I also use software players. I have had the best results using Cinemaster software. Here's a site to get software decoders: www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/

I'm pretty sure the GEforce MX chipset includes Hardware decoding similar to rage 128 chipset
