    Lightbulb More video memory???

    I have a vodoo 3 3000 with 16mb of memory is there a way to install more memory onto the card???

    Unless the card has a daughtercard option made specifically for more mem, there is no way.

    Come to think of it, the Geforce cards should have this option. Buy a 32MB now, later if needed add 32MB more.

    I can't comment on the particular company's name, but a moderate sized nVidia board vendor is planning to support memory and possibly GPU upgrades in the near future. The project is still a "closed-door" test program, which means it will probably never see the light of day. Would be nice, though, as one could buy a GTS with 32meg of memory, and then upgrade to 64 or even 128 when needed.
