    Question TNT2 vs Voodoo3

What shall I do? I have TNT2 M64 32Mb card and I don't know should I sell my card and get voodoo3 2000? I don't know is this a good idea because voodoo has 16Mb, doesn't support use of AGP memory and it has 16bit rendering (can't remember anything else)?
By the way can anyone tell me what is better TNT2 Pro or voodoo3 2000?

This depends on a few things:

    1) How fast is your current processor?

    2) What resolution do you prefer to play in?

If you are playing on any K6-x CPU I'd say the V3 will give you significantly better performance.

The V3 is still just as fast as ANY card on the market in 16-bit color @ 1024x768 or below.

Now, if you've got an Athlon, Pentium III, Duron, or T-bird, I'd stick with your M64, as it will do 32-bit color passably at low-resolutions. It's got a pretty severe memory bandwidth restriction, though, so OC that card as much as you can--every bit of extra bandwidth you can squeeze out is helpful.

Personally, I favor the V3--it smokes.

the tnt m64 is a very limited card. if you can find a tnt2ultra it will be MUCH better than the m64. the pro would also be better than m64...check this out on the tnt2 chipsets.. http://www.nvidia.com/Products/TNT2.nsf

    Cool

VOODOO3 2000 is a good choice if you good performance at a good price, but if I was you ill stick with what you have for the moment and save my money for a TNT2 Ultra or a Geforce. If you have a good machine you will have good result with those nivia chipset cards :-)

I definitely second that. KEEP the M-64, but save for a better card. The GeForce MX is looking like a good solution for only $100 bucks or so, and there are even better cards for not too much more cash.
