    Smile Ink cartridge refills

I bought a ink refill kit over the weekend for my printer and it cost me 25 dollers for 5 refills, which is pretty cheap compared to the knew cartridges which usually cost me $59.00. anyhow I was a bit skeptical at first as I did not know if it would work, well it did! and it was like taking candy from a baby, not that I would . anyhow anybody else try the refills?.

    Cool

I used ot get the Pelligran cartridges, which were like about 60% of the cost of Lexmark cartridges. Never tried the refills, though I probably will. Makes a lot more sense, huh?

If your printhead is integrated into the ink cartridge go ahead and refill as much as you like - if the printhead gets clogged you can always get a new cartridge. However, if your printer is an Epson or has a printhead that is part of the machine I would strongly recommend that you don't refill because these refill inks can corrode the printhead and break down the felt in some of the ink cartridges causing the printhead to fail.

Printheads for an Epson 600 series cost $186 (last I checked - and no Epson would not cut me a deal either) ...and there the usless piece of junk sits on the shelf in the garage... I think no more Epson for me.

I just hope this HP 812C keeps plugging along.

I use Lexmark 5700 printers, Have used refil kits for over a year now, on Average I get 6 refills on a colour cart, but consider myself lucky if I get 2 on the black cart
Check your black cart, if it's Mexican then 1 refill if Porto then 2.
    Hope this helps.
