Thumbs down another G force problem

I have a power color G force card. Not overclocked. Latest Nvidia drivers. Win 2K.

The problem is that Open GL will not work. Whenever I try to use Open GL in any games or 3D Studio MAX 3.1 the computer will reboot. One thing I can do with OGL is play Quake 2 in a window anything else reboots, HALF LIFE, Unreal, Quake 2 full screen.

D3d works perfectly in all games.

I have reinstalled drivers many times, but it has no affect.

You need what is called a glide wrapper I think, I haven't found one yet that works very well or at all even with my creative geforce2, so if you find one give us a shout!

I thought a glide wrapper was used for playing glide mode games on a non 3dfx based card.

I can play quake 2 with my old RIVA TNT and with the g force in Windows 98. Not very stable under 98 though.

urm, not sure to be honest, thought they were the same, on carmageddon 2 I only get the option to use direct3d, can't play in glide, picture quality is't as nice in direct3d as in glide, anyone else out there who can help me or Neo770?
