    Lightbulb Disabling Vsync...

I seem to have a problem with vsync, because each time I run a benchmark it stays at 60FPS it never gets higher... games (ut and q2), 2d benchmarks and 3d benchmarks. HELP!! How do I disable it??

Are you using the nVidia reference drivers? I think you're trying to disable it in D3D, right? If both those are true, you can enter a reg. string that will give an option to disable Vsync under the "More Direct 3D" option menu. Also, it seems to be there by default in the new Detonator 2 reference drivers. Anyway the reg. hack is: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NVTweak in the string "NVTweak", create a new "DWORD value" and call it "PowerUser" with a value of "1". Exit and restart, and now you will have the option to turn of Vsync under the Direct 3D options. Also, if you don't have the string "NVTweak", just create it there under "Global". All without the "'s. Good luck.

If you didn't know already there is the "CoolBits" hack that will give you the nVidia OCing utility built into the display properties. Let me know if you need that one too.
