Hi,

I am trying to decide between purchasing one of two different televisions:

1. Panasonic GAOO with 700 lines resolution, s-video input, but no component input.

2. JVC D-series with 700 lines resolution, WITH component input.

The JVC is about $200 cheaper than the GAOO, and I have read good reviews of it. But the GAOO line has long been coveted by videophiles for its high end quality.

Does anyone own either of these two tv's and would like to share your opinions? I would like to get a dvd player sometime and would like component input; is there much difference in quality between s-video and component? A PS2 may be in my future, or maybe a Dreamcast...these have s-video only, no?
