GOT TO PCWARE'S WEB SITE AND CHECK ALTON MOTHERBOARD MB571, THEN DOWNLOAD THE DRIVERS.

    Hi!

The "TXpro-II" actually is the SiS 5597 chip.

Visit www.sis.com.tw, go to the Drivers page, click "Mainboard", "5597/98 VGA" and download all the files for your operating system into a single directory on your harddisk. Then double-click every single one. Loads of files will unpack, among them a SETUP.EXE. Start that and follow the instructions.

Before that, pay your BIOS Setup a visit, and see how much memory is assigned to the graphics unit. Set this to 4 MB, or if you are tight on memory, 2 MB. More memory allows higher resolutions and deeper color.

    Regards, Peter
