refresh rate under NT

I recently bought a 19"diamondtron monitor. However, uner NT4 I can't increase the refresh rate of my Diamond V550 above 75 Hz when running 1200x1024 mode. Under Linux I'm able to do 1200x1024 at 100 Hz, so both videocard and monitor are able. Can anyone explain why this is or how solve this?

How abt trying latest or 'proper' driver ?

try to get nt service pack4 and install
also have the drivers for both monitor inf files and v550 driver(latest one)
U should have correct monitor setting with v550 to change the refresh rate and something else..good luck.

thanks for the swift replies. Luckily, I figured the problem out. Indeed, it was a problem with the drivers. Diamond seems to be rather conservative in its driver settings. When I installed the nVIDIA 'detonator' drivers I could choose any refresh rate I wanted. Problem fixed, thankx alot Diamond!
