    Which Video card for a o/c 300a?

I am putting together a 300a o/c 450mhz system. Which would be the better video card a Creative Labs AGP 3D Blaster Bansheee or the Creative Labs 16 meg Graphics blaster AGP Riva TNT card?
    Thanks

persolally i would reckomend any 16mb agp card i have used several type's in my machine and would say the creative rivatnt is the best by far but then thats my choice the other cards on a celery 300@450 are diamond viper 550
and the lowly and underestimated s3 savage even with its 8 mb its a fast card and cheap
at the end of the day the choice is yours also try to stay away from the banshee cards as these are slower than the rivatnt plus you can easily o/c the tnt
    have fun

Well , don't count out the Blaster Banshee.

My system is Celeron 374, 64 MB on Abit BH6.
and when overclocking the PCI blaster banshee at 105MHz I got result 2998 in 3D Mark Max.

A AGP TNT card or AGP Ati Rage fury would give only about 7-8% better result.

I mean.. it's cheaper and 3rd generation cards are coming...

Hey Alan, would you believe that when I clock my Celeron to 504MHz - the Banshee (PCI) gives number 3798 in 3DMark 99 Max...
(Ok, I overclock the Banshee but still)

And whole god-**** **** only $89
    (rebate included)

Oy Alan! Watch yer mouth! Don't count out the Banshee. Two days ago, i just bought a Creative 3d Blaster Banshee 16mg AGP, and it figgin rulez! I've been so impressed! I highly reccomend the Banshee. I'm now playing HalfLife super smooth in a resolution of 1024 x 768. IT SIMPLY RULEZ!

at 450 with my tnt clocked @125 i get 3739 now i have changed my ram to 100mhz good
stuff also i have set my tnt to accomadate 32mb textures which gives me 3833
    my full spec is
    300a @ 450
    160mb pc100 -8ns
riva tnt clocked at 125 with 32mb tex's
    on a gigabyte 6bxe mobo
my machine rocks and i would go with the tnt anyday
not discounting other cards and agreed the c/l banshee is a good card and it is cheaper than the tnt pound for pound you get more grunt but if you have the money then tnt is the way forward
also you can only clock the banshee by 5% or so but the tnt can go right up to 130 from a start of 90
oh and i wish i could get my celeron to 504
but it wontmaybe if i could it might reach 3900 or so (wishful thinking on my part though)

Forget both and go get a Matrox G200 based card for 2d, and a Quantum3D Obsidian2 x-24 for 3d (voodoo2 SLI on one card!!!!).

i just installed an ati rage fury 128 32meg agp 145 with 30 rebate and it really clicks it has built in dvd decoder if you ever need it you have to mail in coupon for the software to get dvd going but thats the price you have to pay for early release products . i was running a viper 550 but this does all that and more. real easy to switch from monitor to big screen i.e. quake 2 on big screen etc. running 300a 450,abitbx rev 2 128ram no lock ups yet.

    I have a 300A@450
I'm running a Matrox Millennium G200 and one VoodooII, I DO recommend cooling them though(especially the VoodooII)with GREAT results.

i think 3D Blaster Banshee would be the best choise.I heard Riva TNT is a CPU dependent. It may stress up the cpu,in fact you've o/c the CPU to 450mhz.Meanwhile Banshee take over graphics task from CPU for more efficient process.personally Banshee would be great!
