This is not good...
My new Compaq PC has no open AGP slots just PCI...The existing AGP video card is welded on the motherboard. I need to upgrade my video card but AGP is not an option. Does the Voodoo 3 or TNT1 or TNT2 come with PCI support... Any suggestions on what the best PCI card is...
By the way I didn't pick out this PC. It was a gift...

Hmm... I've got a great idea for you..
It's gonna cost a little more than just the videocard...
Buy a new, nice ATX case($69), motherboard($100) that can fit your existing chip and memory. Move all your other hardware except the motherboard from that Compaq inside the new case..also the new AGP TNT2($199) - and voila!
You have a system that can be upgraded with ease!

If you don't want to bother with a case and new mobo (you should if you can) just get a Voodoo3 2000, it is the only one that comes as a PCI version (though the other higher ones could too since they don't use the benefits of AGP) But you will be better off in the long run getting a new case and mobo.

dont know what you are wanting to spend, but if cash or moving parts is a prob. then yes those cards do come in pci versions, i believe all that you mentioned come as pci.
Also agree with the first two, changing boxes and mobo would be better, but it is what you are able and want to do, remember some compaq parts- example most presarios come with parts designed to work with compaqs bios and logic board, so keep that in mind when deciding, dont know what you have but think about that and find out if you dont know.
