    STB Velocity 4400 16mg...????

    OK , what's the deal here. I have an STB Velocity 4400 16 mg video card ,350 Pentium II, 128 megs of pc100 ram, Maxtor 8.4 gig hardrive..This package would seem to be a fast pc (video gaming)? But can only achieve frames of about 144 fps??????have seen machines with older or smaller cards and cpu's run faster when benchmarked??

    I have seen up to 214 fps on the same card, less ram and a 400 or 300 celeron processor???
