Problems installing gbrtbios.exe (creative Riva TNT)
Im getting some games and 3d apps not working correctly (quake 2, half life, 3dMark Max) and I have no solutions. The only malfunction in installing drivers and bios updates was this one. I tryed double clickin it in win95 (got 'not a win32 app') 'gbrtbios.exe -d' from a clean boot in DOS (got a 'not a cabinet file' error) and 'extract c:\bios\gbrtbios.exe -d a:' from WIN95 MS-DOS prompt (to put it on a boot disk) and got the same cabinet file error as before. What am I doing wrong? any other Creative Riva TNT users that installed this correctly?

This assumes gbrtbios.exe is placed directly under the C drive.
The path name being: C:\gbrtbios.exe
AND
You are unzipping the file to a bootable diskette inserted in the floppy drive.
Start MS DOS Prompt.
Type: cd\
Press the Enter key
Type: gbrtbios.exe -d a:
Note that there is a space before and after -d
Press enter
Answer Y to extract files.
