    TNT-2 will be out abt 2 - 3 weeks after Voodoo3, refering to previews, the diamond's TNT-2 is kinda cool...with 32MB ram...
the final specs r not sure yet, though.

Obviously, if you wait and get a Voodoo3 it will be much faster than the TNT (even the V3 2000); buying a TNT, or likewise a Voodoo2 or Banshee, right now is somewhat foolish. This is true because the cheapest Voodoo3 (V3 2000) costs only $105 to preorder. The question really is whether you should get the Voodoo3 or the TNT2. The first has three speed/price variants which are rather cheap and extremely fast (it's expected that the Voodoo3 3500 should indeed be faster than the TNT2).

On the other hand, the TNT2 should be able to do 32-bit color AT ALMOST NO SPEED LOSS (like the Rage Fury 128 and unlike the current TNT/other cards). Even though the V3's image quality is much better than V2, and is the best you can get with 16-bit color, newer games like Quake3 will look better on the TNT2 with true color.

Also, the TNT2 will come equipped with 32MB memory instead of the Voodoo3's 16MB. So, if you want cheap, superb performance, get the V3 2000; if you want ultimate image quality in true color, wait longer for the TNT2; if you want all-out performance, you should be safe with the V3 3500. (You may want to wait for reviews of actual retail boards)

Get the V3, or better yet, wait for 3DFX's new video card later this year. The V3 is really just an SLI setup on one card mated to the Banshee 2d core. 3DFX claims that they will have a new improved 3d hardcore gaming card out later this year. I doubt even if the TNT-2 will be able to compete then.
