    Keeps Voodoo2 or change ??

    Hi! I have a Voodoo2 with 8Mb and a Diamond Stealth 64 Vram 4Mb running on a K6-2 400.
Which is the best choice? keep my Vodoo card or change by a Banshee with 16Mb?
I had some troubles(reboot, hang up, etc...) running WWII Fighters from EA and DirectX 6.1, all problems was solved when I go back to DirectX 5.0 but I think that the FPS aren't the best that is possible with these two boards(Diamond and Voodoo).
It's impossible to use DirectX 6.1 because my puter hangs or reboot every time that I try to use some program in 3D(NFSII, NFSIII, even Sandra98 testing DirectX drivers).
    What happens?
    Plz Help !!

Another option would be to but a second V2 and run it SLI with the other one. After the V3 comes out, prices should drop on V2.

Don't make the change, there is not much difference in most cases between the Voodoo II and banshee. Wait for the next Voodoo card or TNT 2.

I think it depends on how long you can wait.
I have a 12MB STB Voodoo2 (it has none of problems Ricardo described though) running on a Celeron 464MHz and I plan to keep it until 3Dfx's next rumored board comes out. 3Dfx has admitted that Voodoo3 is really a well-improved Banshee, and that they still have a real ace up their sleeve which is due out the second half of 1999. This would be the Voodoo3.5, I guess, but it seems like none of the upcoming videocards (voodoo3, tnt2) is that much better than my V2 for me to ditch it.
