    Does halfife suppose to run faster with mini3dfx with a V1?

    i got a diamond monster 3d (voodoo10)
    i was playing halflife when some parts of the game got kinda skippy. so my friend said to download mini3dfx, i did but Halflife ran pretty much the same. Is half life supose to run fast with 3dfx on voodo 1

    Nope...not fast...
    Half Life is a multi-texturing game but V1 is a single texturing accelerator...thus...it need 2 passes for V1 to render a screen, which cozed the game to run at abt 1/2 the speed of other single texturing game on V1.
