Replacing Old Video Card
I have a 166 Mhz Compaq computer and I am thinking about upgrading the video card inside of it. But it has Riser card in it, where the (modem, sound card, and what apears to be a video card on it, it has Videologic written on it and is made by NEC)are connected. The interesting thing is that the video output does not come from this card, it comes from the motherboard, which has an intergrated S3 Virge chip on it. I have several extra PCI slots on the Riser card to put a new video card. Could someone tell me how I would go about doing this. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are satisfied with the 2d performance of your S3 chip, you could throw a voodoo1 or voodoo2 in the pci slot and use it as your 3d card. (due to your slow cpu speed, the voodoo 1 would probably be your best bet)
