New video card....slow games
I just recently upgraded my computer to sell it, and now games are running slow. It is a C300A running on an Alotn 747 MB with a built in SIS 6326 AGP 8meg video card. I tried installing the video drivers that came with it, but Win98 says that those drivers were not written for the card, and may not work properly. So, I tried the ones that Win98 installed, and I get 2 or 16 colors. Any suggestions (new drivers, or perhaps a 3D only add on card)?
Thanks...

I have a friend who has the SiS chipset in his new computer and he only is able to get software rendering in games (this is very slow) I just sold him my Voodoo2 card and now he plays games accelerated and it's working great!! You probably need a 3d add in card

I had similar problems with my M717 board, with a 4 meg 6326 chipset built in. I had to load the drivers off the CD that came with the board. W98's drivers wouldn't let me go past 16 colors and the lowest resolution. By the way, this 3D Pro chip kinda stinks, but it's better than nothing, right? Especially if you're gonna sell it anyway...
