MSI AND TNT Overclock - Help!
Thanks in advance..
I have a P2-300 on an MSI-6119 v1.1 MB, its been running excellent at 103x4.5 setup with the Soft CPU setup. I have been using a Matrox G200 AGP quite ahwile now, and have now purchased a Creative Riva TNT card, but the damned thing hangs every time i try to run any 3D apps, set back to 300, works fine. Im assuming the problem is the lack of a 1:1, 2:3 AGP selector, but MSI says its auto selecting, and thus why their is no CMOS setup option for it. So what can i try from here? Is their a way around this - or is that not my problem at all, or maybe a RIVA card that does work at full speed AGP?
Thanks

Over clocked system will show problem in Direct3D (such as the celery 300A oc to 450)
1st, u hafta make sure, CPU is not overheat (coz TNT card is a CPU dependant card)
2nd, is the RAM chip PC-100 ?
3rd, try to run DirectDraw games (at 103x4.5), c if it hangs or not ?? If not, then make sure u've completed the above 2.

The cpu runs @ 23 - 28 Celsius, the ram has been tested stable to 124Mhz - If the AGP bus speed is locked at 100Mhz, would the Riva card work, or does it have to be at 66Mhz? It runs fine till I try anything that uses 3d Acceleration..
