Hello, I have the following problem
I have bought a badge Asus p2b, and I have made oc at 300Mhz. 3x100 the bus pci maintains it at 33,4 and everything works correctly, the problem happens me when I use the Voodo2, when he/she wants the game it is hung in question, it happens with many, and not you that it can be.
Some idea.
Somebody has the same configuration, and it doesn't happen him this.
greetings Thorny antonio

Here is the reason.
You need to change the PCI bus speed multiplyer from 1/2 (default for pentiums, Celerons, and early pentium II's) to 1/3 (default with pentium II's and III's). Here is the reason.
The PCI bus was designed to be 33mHz. This was achieved by using a multiplyer of 1/2 to the origional 66mHz Front Side Bus (FSB) that the CPU's used to get their speed rating. Because the PCI bus was standardized at 33mHz, designers of all PCI cards only had to be able to handle 33mHz. When the 100mHz FSB was first started to be used, they needed a way to make sure that the PCI bus would still run at 33mHz, thus the 1/3 multiplyer. Older motherboards don't always offer this 1/3 multiplyer, and if that is the case you are SOL, and will just have to be content with running your Pentium with a 66mHz FSB or go out and buy a new motherboard that does support the 1/3 option.
Few Voodoo2 cards can run at a PCI bus speed greater then 38mHz (75mHz FSB/2), even fewer at 42mHz (83mHz FSB/2). There is not a single one that I have seen that can run at 50mHz (100mHz FSB).

Thank you for the answer.
But my badge if it supports the configuration that
you indicate in your answer it is an asus p2b and when the bus is placed to 100
mhz. the bus pci is 1/3 like you indicate there am there is the because I don't
understand that it happens.
I have used programs like sandra etc. to verify that the speed of the bus is
the correct one, and if it is it 33,4 mhz. the same one that with the bus to 66
mhz.
Some other idea.
thank you in advance
