Banshee, Fusion, Riva TNT cards....oh my!!!!!

I've heard that the banshee may run faster on my system(P5A,K6-2:350). Is this true? I'd rather get Creative's or Diamond's RIVA TNT card...Which should I purchase? (Speed, graphics,)

The voodoo banshee chip is the best chip for compatibility. It will work with all games. The RIVA/TNT chip is faster, though end users will not typically see a performance difference. Diamond has much better support and patches(so far) than Creative Labs. I personally went with the Diamond Monster Fusion AGP w/banshee chipset on my AMD K6-2 350 based system.

Why do I hear so many wonderful things about Riva TNT cards rather than Banshee?

The Banshee chipset doesn't depend as much on CPU functions as TNT does, which will improve performance. I have an AGP Diamond Monster Fusion, I agree that Diamond has much better support and patches, and the Fusion is pre-overclocked which is why they put a fan on the chipset.
