video Card Locks up
I have a Epox MB with a cheepe 8 meg AGP video card. With win 98 set to full hardware aceleration the card seem to lock up. This mostly happens when I'm using IE4 and scrolling up or down a page. If I reduce the acceleration I can make the problem go away. I think I have the latest drivers from the card maker.. any other Ideas??

Really double check on those drivers. Also check the AGP drivers for the chipset on your board. Another thing you can do is reduce the AGP arpeture size to half of your memory in the CMOS. Come to think of it, go through the AGP settings in CMOS. Best of luck to you though.
Oh, also. If none of that helps, browse through www.aceshardware.com There's lots of good info on setting up and optimizing cards there.
