    Intel 740 doesn't seem to work !!

    I'm using a Abit BH6 with p2 350, and Sparkle intel 740 AGP video card! I installed the USB driver for windows and managed to detect the Intel manufacturer but everytime i boot up /restart the computer it keep complain that my adapter doesn't setup properly !! This is extremely annoying !! Do u have any ideas of what is going on ??? please help.... Thanks !

    If you are using Win95, refer to the ABit manual for the installation of their drivers for the PXII4 bridge for windows to properly reconize the AGP device. If you go into your device Manager you may see a yellow caution near the display adapter. There may also be an issue that the video card is defective. You may want to go to their site (if they have one)to see if there is a updated driver. Another thought would be to contact whom you purchased the card from to inquire
    as to how they configure the card with any systems they build up. If they don't use it then that may be an indication that you should bail on it. It doesn't pay to skimp on certain perifs and your video card is one of them. It is the roadway between your system and the monitor. The last thing you want is alot of potholes or red lights while getting there.
