intel I740 3d direct

Does this chip set support 3d direct?
card seems to hum along at a pretty good pace with some games and 2d appz. setting up a system (300a @ 450mhz) for my 10 year old daughter. the i740 seemed to fit the bill but final reality says this card has no 3d hardware. any input greatly appreciated.

I have a Hercules Terminator 2x/i that uses the intel 740 chipset and I also have problems getting final reality to recognise my card. I downloaded the latest version of final reality and drivers for my card, but final reality still did not detect my direct 3d card.

This, I would not worry about though. The intel 740 is an awesome direct 3d chip, and it is my pride and joy. I've got it running on a p2 300, and i'm running Half Life, direct 3d at 800 x 600. The direct 3d power of the intel 740 is fantastic, and for it's price, I wouldn't have any other card.

I have a Diamond stealth II g460 8mb, it works just fine also 3d dectection, but with final reality my computer crashes.
I use direct x6 and win98.
And Yes the Intel 740 is a VERY GOOD chip,and not expensive !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think you would be very glad with the intel chip.
